Batik: A 31-year passion
Introduced to Batik in 1992 by his visual artist friend, Magdou Amédé, Mr. Padey immersed himself in the art of Batik alongside his musical and literary career. Over the years, he perfected his art, devoting himself particularly to the creation of loincloths. Mr. Padeyl constantly challenges himself in his creative work, also venturing into the creation of paintings exhibited at numerous exhibitions.
A complete artist
With over 60 paintings to his credit, Mr. Padey finds in Batik a unique way to play with time, to escape and travel through shapes and colors. The practice of Batik allows him to create an inner journey, exploring his imagination with each new creation.

The Batik Challenge: Between Moments of Glory and Doubts
Mr. Padey shares a defining experience from his career as a dyer. At a fair, a potential client, unaware of the creative process, criticized the price of one of his paintings. The painting had taken 30 days of hard work. Rather than discourage him, these difficult moments galvanized Mr. Padey, who believes that the most beautiful thing in life is the love of others and the moments shared.
