Koko Dunda Hand Dyed

Koko Dunda Hand Dyed

Minimum order quantity: 10 units

100% handmade in Burkina Faso.

Koko Dunda, an iconic fabric from Burkina Faso, is hand-dyed in the Kôkô region of Bobo Dioulasso. Once stigmatized, this multi-colored striped fabric was brought back into the spotlight in 2016 by fashion designer Sébastien Bazemo. The artisanal manufacturing process involves folding, tying the fabric with nylon thread, followed by dye baths that create unique shades.
